Children's hospital

The Puppy sessions at the Children’s Hospital are always a sad but happy experience for us. We are saddened by the circumstances that surround some of these Children, but are always happy that we were able to help a Child forget their worries for a while and have a happy day.

The Children are always happy to see us coming down the hall with the basket full of pups, and the pups get socialization as well, so the experience benefits us all.
Some of the Children pull out the little red wagon and take the pups for a ride, while others that may be bed bound will put the pups in the bed with them and get lots of puppy kisses. You can hear the laughter and giggles from the children all up and down the halls.

Our main challenge seems to be keeping the pups from the Doctors and Nurses so the Children can play with them!!

This experience is always a lot of fun for everyone, and though sad sometimes when we see some of the circumstances, we always leave with tears filled eyes, but a joy in our hearts that will last a lifetime.

At first, we were reluctant to post these pictures of the Children due to the situations surrounding them. However, with the urging to do so from their Parents, the Children and the Hospital staff we decided to post them.
