It really was fun! We just got back from out of town and I'm checking mail. We got some cute pictures to send to you and I'll get to that tomorrow. Yes, Riley did love the blanket. I read in a book I bought to do that if you can so when they leave their family they will have the familiar smells of mom and siblings. Carol is going to do the same thing with a little cute toy so Riley will also have something with his mom and siblings's smells. They were wonderful to meet and it is so obvious how much they love what they do in breeding the dogs. I think they go way above what other breeders do in taking such good care of the puppies and making sure the new owners have all the information they need to make the transition go smooth for everyone. I've never heard of a breeder having a 'puppy luncheon'. It was from 12:30 until 3:30pm. Well, Jim and Carol enjoy it so much I was shocked to see the time when we got in our car of 5:30pm. We don't wear a watch and Jim and Carol were so enjoyable taking time with us. They never made us feel rushed out and it is amazing to me how they open their home to strangers with such a wonderful spirit. We had a wonderful wonderful time. Take care, Susan
Just wanted to tell you that Bentley did soooooooooooo good today. No one can believe that he goes outside to go potty all day long. He had no potty accidents in the house at all. I come home around 10 and take him out and we play and I have lunch . Then, Ron comes home around 12:30 or 1:00 and takes him out and has a little play time with him. He is very content in the playpen while we get supper ready then he goes back outside and we have another play time and then outside and in the coupe for the night. Ron has been getting up, around 9:30pm or 10:00pm and takes him out , he goes right away and then goes back in the crate, no problem... He is so amazing to us. A lady in the store just got two puppies about three or four weeks ago and they have not gone outside one time yet... Of, course I had to brag about my little Bentley. Ron, keeps saying how did we get so lucky, and I say, I don't know, but we sure did. Bentley's ears are coming up more and more each day, won't be long. Well better go and get some stuff done, hope Jim is feeling better. Talk to you real soon. Love, Sue
