Fleas and Ticks:
We refrain from using chemically based products that you place by droplet behind the neck which enters the blood stream to eliminate fleas. We give our pups as well as the grown dogs a multi vitamin with garlic and yeast. The one we use is Kenic, it can be found at “Jeffers Pet Supplies”. It comes in a granular form and we sprinkle it on their food every other day. The fleas and ticks dislike the garlic, but the dogs love the powder.

This is a healthy way to eliminate the fleas and is good for the coat as well. We do not see skin irritation or allergies in our dogs which seems to be common in some terriers.
